Welcome to BreastScreeningOptions.org

With all the publicity about breast cancer, many women are considering whether they should have some sort of breast health checks.

The purpose of this site is to give information about the breast screening choices currently available to women in New Zealand.

It also aims to empower women to reduce their risk of developing breast cancer by providing information on breast cancer risk factors and cancer prevention strategies.

This site has been created by Katherine Smith, herbalist and author of The Cancer Prevention Handbook.  I do not have any financial interest in any breast screening modality and I am not in practice as a herbalist.

This is a WordPress site so new articles appear on the first page of the site.  If you want to look up any particular topic or article, please go to the “Entries RSS” link under the heading “Meta” on the right hand side of the page.  Clicking on the “Entries RSS” link will give you a complete list of all the articles posted to date. You can then click on the article(s) you would like to read.

To date (January 8, 2011) these are the articles posted:

I hope you find the information on this site interesting and useful.  This site is a work in progress.  Please check back for further information.

Yours for good health,
